I am 17 years old, I am part Filipino, part Chinese and part Irish, I was born in England in Milton Keynes, where I grew up. I found the need to performing at the very young age of 2 years old where I was in my first amateur production of the King and I, and also performing at Filipino fiesta's doing Hawaiian and Filipino cultural dancing.
I started to do ballet, tap and modern exams at the age of 3, and at the age of 4 I realised my passion for singing, it wasn't till I started to sing at talent competitions up and down Britain that I thought of singing as a career.
I started writing songs at 8, my first songs were Guardian Angels, and Grounded, which both won in the UK Song writing competition in 2004 I was 11, that same year I did a Mall Tour in the Philippines with the band Ice Lollies I was also given a place at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, here I spent 5 years in education doing my GCSE's and learning Musical Theatre whilst gaining experience in The King and I UK Tour, and 3 of the Harry Potter Films and TV shows like The Bill.
At the age of 13 I auditioned for a classical crossover group which I was given the privilege to be apart of, this group was called Angelis, it was managed by Simon Cowell and sold Platinum within 8 weeks of its launch, it was such a great experience and it really gave me a taste of the music business, Angelis introduced me to classical music I found a love for it, I then was invited to sing during the half time at the MK Dons Stadium in Milton Keynes, and have performed there now quite a few times, I love singing there for it always has such a great atmosphere. I am continuing my studies of Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy in the West End of London.
I am now working with MKVIBE on my solo Debut album which will be launched in 2011, I am enjoying the process of creating this album so far, it is very different to anything I have even done before, in this album I have tried to use aspects of the classical music I have been known for and the power of rock that has influenced me through growing up listening to artist such as, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Paramore, Evanescence and the greats like, Bon Jovi, Queen, Prince. I hope everyone will enjoy the album as much as I am enjoying making it.
