Aqua Blakk was formed by three eager eyed artists who have a great ear for music along the rnb/hiphop and dance genre. The members are made up of Juelz, vee and mulleezy!! Each one of them has had the drive and determination to break barriers and push through into spaces people thought was not possible. Only properly formed as a group since mid december of 2008! Before they got together officially... they all had visions and goals they wanted to achieve individually. So put three of these strivers into one group and the possibilities are endless! They all have very unique styles, which compliment and contrast aqua blakk. From their voices right down to their image! They have had short term success since they started the group, such as opening up for the global RnB superstar NE-YO. As Aqua Blakk continue to write more and more material, they are gathering a bigger and bigger fan base, who would follow them across the midlands when they gig! Aqua Blakk have started to sell merchandise of their own, this includes t-shirts, hoodies etc. They have also acquired backing dancers who perform with them at their gigs. The group has progressed further in the competition “LIVE AND UNSIGNED.” They are one step away from making it to the national finals being held in Portsmouth. A lot of encouraging happenings keep pushing this group to strive for bigger things in the music world. I am a firm believer that this group would be a breath of fresh air to the UK’s black music scene. Aqua blakk is not just a group; it is vastly becoming a business. I do believe that this group has the full package to make a stance in the UK. They just need someone higher up to see, feel and believe their vision!
