THE GRAND FINALS OF SEARCH FOR A STAR 2008
Friday 5th December 2008 – 7.00p.m.

All finalists should be at the theatre by 5.30pm and bring with them:
:: Backing tracks for 2 songs
:: Any musical equipment to be used in their performance
:: An up to date biography
:: A recent picture

The judging will be based on Audiance votes, vocals, stage presence and style as well as overall performance. Scores will be announced for each finalist. Their decision will be final.

The three acts with the highest point scores will be invited to perform a second time with the final three places of runners up and winner being decided on the second performance.

Finalists are invited to bring along supporters for the audience who will make up 50% of the scoring counted towards the overall tally of each act. The more votes you get the better off you will be.

Trophies and prize will be awarded for the three top performers in both categories
